Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Construction Estimator position include: Minimum 10-15 years of experience in commercial construction estimating Evaluate drawings, specifications, and collaborate with clients to prepare accurate cost, labor, and materials estimates Participate in design-build efforts by offering early-phase cost input and preparing estimates based on preliminary information Manage subcontractor bidding processes, develop bidders' lists, and issue bid invitations Lead value engineering and cost-optimization strategies when project budgets are exceeded Break out cost estimates by codes, generate contracts, and assist with project hand-offs Attend pre-bid meetings, job site walkthroughs, and collaborate on project hand-off meetings Provide support during construction phases, resolving issues and tracking scope changes Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
