Pay: Starting at $90,000 $100,000/year (Negotiable DOE)

What Youll Do
As a Project Manager , you will be responsible for driving custom driveshaft projects from concept through production. Your key duties will include:

  • Application-Based Driveshaft Design: Analyze customer data to design custom driveshaft solutions that meet functional and dimensional needs.

  • Technical Drawing Development: Create 2D/3D CAD models and customer-facing approval drawings using industry-standard tools.

  • Pricing Support: Develop pricing worksheets using design specs, materials, and manufacturing costs to assist the sales team.

  • Production Oversight: Manage production timelines to ensure timely delivery and efficient resource planning.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a bridge between engineering, sales, and manufacturing teams to maintain alignment and project success.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement design and process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Track and document design revisions, production progress, and key project milestones.

What You Need to Have
Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
    (Equivalent technical education/experience will be considered)

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor Pro and AutoCAD Mechanical for 2D and 3D models (required)

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams)

Core Competencies:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of rotating machinery

  • Excellent technical communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced machine shop environment

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in driveshaft design, mechanical systems, or related manufacturing environments

  • Familiarity with ERP systems or project scheduling software
