Job Description We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee and coordinate all phases of projects, including engineering, fabrication, shop run-offs, field installation, commissioning, and closeout. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and communicating detailed project schedules, updating project financials and labor forecasts weekly, and facilitating weekly project meetings. You will lead resource planning, design and constructability reviews, procurement planning, and safety coordination, while writing, negotiating, and managing subcontractor agreements and scopes of work, and handling invoicing and collections. Responsibilities
- Coordinate all phases of projects, including engineering, fabrication, shop run-offs, field installation, commissioning, and closeout.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed project schedules.
- Update project financials and labor forecasts weekly.
- Facilitate weekly project meetings.
- Lead resource planning, design and constructability reviews, procurement planning, and safety coordination.
- Write, negotiate, and manage subcontractor agreements and scopes of work.
- Manage invoicing and collections.
- Prepare and manage change orders, develop risk mitigation plans, and ensure completion of safety documentation.
- Monitor field activities to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Conduct job site audits as needed.
- Maintain open issue logs and action plans to track project performance and problem resolution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, clients, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
- 5+ years of project management experience.
- Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
- Theoretical and practical project management knowledge.
- Basic understanding of electrical, controls, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience in strategic planning, contract negotiation, risk management, and change management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent computer skills.
- PMP certification is a plus.
