HIRING: Professional Finish Carpenter w/ Cabinet Making Experience (Estes + Front Range)
Compensation: DOE / W-9 or 1099 Contractor
Employment type: Full-time contract (3 months minimum)

Summit Design & Fabrication is looking for a highly skilled finish carpenter to join our team for a full interior remodel in Estes Park, Colorado, with potential for ongoing work. This is a 3-month commitment, and were looking to build a relationship with someone who takes craftsmanship seriously and can contribute to more custom projects down the line.

REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience with finish carpentry (doors, trim, casing, base, T&G, built-ins)
Must have own truck and tools
Ability to work alone or integrate into a small crew
Willing to travel throughout the Front Range (Estes, Greeley, etc.)
Comfortable in both rough and finish phases
Punctual, professional, and detail-oriented

CABINET MAKING & CUSTOM WOODWORKING

This is not just a trim job we are actively looking for a candidate with fine woodworking experience, particularly:
Cabinet installation (face-frame and frameless)
Custom shelving and built-in units
On-site modifications and scribing
Familiarity with shop-built components
Experience with stone/tile integration (hearths, built-ins, etc.)

Bonus points if you have experience in cabinet fabrication, furniture building, or running a small shop. Were developing a woodworking division and are looking for long-term collaborators with that skillset.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
3-month finish phase at a residential remodel in Estes Park
Scope includes:
T&G pine ceilings
Solid wood door and trim install
Built-in shelving
Faux beam install
Cabinet set & countertop prep
Hearth surround
May include other projects in Loveland, Fort Collins, or Greeley
Shop days in Greeley as needed (material prep, custom work)

IDEAL CANDIDATE
Has a background in high-end finish work
May own their own LLC or small crew
Understands how to read plans and work independently
Values communication, safety, and clean execution
