Architect

We are seeking a talented Architect with proficiency in AutoCAD to complete a full set of construction documents. The ideal candidate will have modeling experience with SketchUp and be capable of executing construction documents for healthcare and commercial building types. Responsibilities include drafting existing conditions from site surveys and taking projects from schematic design through construction documents. You will be coordinating with consulting engineers, developing construction detailing and specifications, and engaging in construction administration tasks such as answering RFIs, reviewing submittals, and conducting construction site observations. Additionally, you will research codes as needed, create realistic renderings for client presentations, and utilize graphic skills with Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Execute a complete set of construction documents for healthcare/commercial building types.
• Draft existing conditions from site surveys.
• Coordinate projects from schematic design through construction documents with consulting engineers.
• Develop construction detailing and specifications.
• Administer construction tasks including answering RFIs, reviewing submittals, and conducting site observations.
• Research codes and ensure compliance.
• Create realistic renderings for client presentations.
• Utilize graphic skills and Adobe Creative Suite.

• 5-10 years of experience in healthcare projects, especially freestanding medical/health facilities and outpatient offices.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for full construction documentation.
• 5-10 years of experience in project coordination with engineers, clients, and contractors.
• Experience in architecture, construction documents, and administration.
• Strong skills in architectural design, project management, and schematic design.
• Ability to create construction drawings.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing construction documents.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• Experience using AutoCAD and working on commercial buildings.
• Ability to use Revit, SketchUp, or 3D Studio Max for photo-realistic rendering.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

The firm is located in Red Bank, NJ, and is expanding to reach new levels of success. The team currently consists of three members, fostering a small office attitude where you will be involved in all phases of projects. The design work you create will be built, offering a fast-paced and fun environment with tremendous one-on-one experiences. The work primarily focuses on healthcare projects within the tri-state area, including renovations, new buildings, skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, freestanding treatment centers, MRI, and CT facilities. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.05 - $48.07/hr.
