Job Title: Civil Project Manager
Location: Springfield MO
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $85,000 - $135,000

About the Role:
We are seeking a results-driven Civil Project Manager to lead and oversee complex infrastructure projects from start to finish. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with experience in managing public and private sector projects involving highways, bridges, roadways, and water/wastewater treatment facilities.
You'll work closely with clients, engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget with a focus on quality, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of civil construction projects (highways, bridges, roads, and water treatment facilities)
Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, field staff, and clients
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental and safety standards
Lead project meetings, progress reports, and documentation efforts
Serve as the primary point of contact for client communications and project updates
Monitor subcontractor performance and resolve field issues as they arise
Oversee procurement of materials, permits, and necessary approvals
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
5+ years of civil project management experience required; experience with DOT or municipal infrastructure projects strongly preferred
Proven track record managing large-scale projects (e.g., highways, bridges, roadways, or water treatment plants)
Knowledge of civil construction methods, permitting, and regulatory standards
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Procore, or similar)
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Valid driver's license required; occasional travel to project sites
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional Engineer (PE) license or PMP certification
Experience working with local/state DOTs or municipalities
Familiarity with design-build and public works contract structures
