About the Role:
The Framing Superintendent provides job-site leadership necessary for successful project completion, measured by quality, safety, schedule adherence, budget maintenance, and client satisfaction.
Essential Functions:
- Create and maintain Master Schedule and 4-week look ahead schedules.
- Provide supervision of quality standards and implement the QA/QC Program to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
- Understand and hold others accountable for Jobsite Safety Standards.
- Oversee the Storm Water Management program.
- Coordinate with all jurisdictional permitting and inspection entities and third-party testing agencies.
- Understand and enforce the complete execution of all subcontractors contractual obligations.
- Train and mentor direct reports to create leverage and opportunities for others without risking successful project outcomes.
- Expected to have enough experience and depth of knowledge in managing construction projects to be the driving force behind providing solutions to problems and capable of unifying key team members to advance the solution.
- Conduct preconstruction meetings with subcontractors prior to their starting work.
- Conduct weekly on-site subcontractor coordination meetings, safety meetings, and daily safety inspections.
- Ensure projects close out effectively and all permits are closed.
- Maintain As-Built drawings throughout the duration of each project. Submit accurate As-Built drawings at the completion of each project.
- Monitor field labor and equipment utilization, compare to budget, and provide cost projections to the Project Manager during monthly Project Cost Report reviews.
Education and Qualifications:
- Minimum 8+ years of construction management experience with an emphasis on framing experience.
- Experience in a lead role in managing wood framing and general construction processes on large commercial and multifamily projects.
- Proficiency using Microsoft suite of applications, construction scheduling software, and project management applications.
- Have a complete understanding of all contract documents such as drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Competent in management of all aspects of a construction project on a stand-alone basis with only additional support from upper management on an infrequent basis.
- Current drivers license which has been valid for the past 12 consecutive months.
- OSHA 10, OSHA 30, First Aid / CPR, and SWMP Certifications preferred but not required.

Salary: Salary range of $88,000 to $130,000. Salary is commensurate with skills, experience, and education.
