TITLE : Housing Construction Carpenter 4 \n

DEPARTMENT: Meskwaki Housing Program \n

Classification: Non-Exempt \n

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : \n

• Will supervise construction crew members. \n
• Confers with construction Supervisor in planning and coordination of various phases of construction to prevent delays. \n
• Ensure that work conforms to specifications and construction schedule is adhered to. \n
• Perform any combination of duties associated with residential housing construction. \n
• Use of hand and power tools in all phases of construction. \n
• Maintain tools and equipment. \n
• Lead and over see jobsite activities \n
• Conduct site measurements, material take offs and assist in estimating labor and material needs. \n
• Perform quality control inspections to ensure workmanship meets required standards \n
• Strong understanding of safety protocols \n
• Other duties as assigned. \n

REQUIREMENTS: \n

• High school diploma or GED. \n
• Must have at least 8 years of construction experience in the following: \n

• Framing and Layout \n
• Trim and Finish work \n
• Roofing and Siding \n
• Concrete Forming and Finishing \n
• Cabinet Installation \n
• Flooring Installation \n
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience \n \n
• Must be able to read blueprints. \n
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently. \n
• Must be in good physical condition. \n
• Must have valid driver's license and be insurable. \n

• Supervised by the Construction Supervisor \n

SALARY LEVEL : \n

• $47,113 - $73,466 \n
