Goal : Work on each job delivering the highest quality service that is safe and most effective within the determined time limits. Report to work on time and prepared to perform duties of position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company's operating safety policies and procedures. Detect and fix operating problems. Provide recommendations for maintaining and improving environmental performance. Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers. Ensure that all machinery and tools are available to the crew, and everything is in proper order. Conduct periodic inspections and maintenance of construction equipment and tools to ensure everything is in working condition. Ensure company equipment, materials, and work sites are maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner. Complete required paperwork, reporting, and other documentation. Perform all other duties as assigned. Knowledge and Required Skills : 5 years' experience operating heavy equipment. Strong communication skills. Ability to read manuals and blueprints / plans. Ability to work well in a team environment. Strong attention to detail. Excellent eye / hand / foot coordination. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Commercial Driver's License preferred.
