Estimator

Location: New Hyde Park, NY

Schedule: MondayFriday, 8am5pm

Travel: Site visits for bid-walks as needed

As our Estimator, youll be at the heart of our project planning and execution. Youll:

• Analyze project plans and specs to develop accurate, competitive cost estimates.
• Perform quantity take-offs and craft detailed scopes of work.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to gather and evaluate quotes.
• Shape bid strategies, assess risks, and contribute to compelling proposals.
• Leverage historical cost data to refine and innovate estimating practices.
• Partner with project managers on scheduling, procurement, and coordination.
• Prepare submittals, RFIs, and change orders while tracking budgets and timelines.
• Facilitate communication between field teams and stakeholders.
• Join site visits and progress meetings to stay connected to the build.

• 510 years of estimating experience, especially in earthwork, concrete, or foundations .
• Proficiency in construction management and estimating software.
• Strong skills in blueprint reading, pricing, bidding, and cost analysis.
• Bonus: Experience in utility projects .

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $150000.00/yr.

Benefits include 2 weeks vacation, paid holidays, 401k, and medical insurance.
