JOB SUMMARY:

DeSHAZO is currently seeking a dedicated and seasoned Electrical Supervisor with a proven track record of overseeing electrical assembly processes, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to standards. Adept at managing teams, interpreting schematics, and driving efficiency. Seeking a challenging role to contribute expertise in electrical supervision within a dynamic work environment. Desired candidate will have previous Plant Electrical Supervision experience.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Lead a team of electrical assembly professionals, overseeing the planning, layout, and wiring of custom control panels for new overhead crane equipment.
  • Execute tasks involving reading schematics and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to accurately wire and install various components, VF Drivers, and motors.
  • Identify and resolve design deficiencies or malfunctions promptly, enhancing overall quality and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment meets quality specifications and safety requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant degree preferred. (Certification from a Technical School in Electronics, Industrial Maintenance, or Military Electronics.)
  • Minimum of 5+ years as a supervisor in a heavy fabrication and welding environment.
  • Must have prior Supervisor experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing setting.
  • Must be willing/able to interview, train, and travel to DeSHAZO's Alabama Manufacturing facility upon request.
  • Experience in wiring PLCs, VF Drivers (VFD), and Motor Controls.
  • Proficiency in operating forklift equipment.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Ability to speak, read, and understand English.
  • Proficient reading and writing skills.
  • Ownership of basic electrician's tools.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and team management skills.
  • The desired candidate shows initiative, working well with others, safety oriented, goal driven, and a positive team lead.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS:

The listed physical requirements are essential to ensure that candidates can perform the duties associated with the role safely and effectively.

  • Regularly lift weights up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended 10-hour shifts.
  • Flexibility to work in various positions, including reaching, bending, kneeling, etc.
  • Adaptability to work diverse environments, such as hot, cold, dusty, and dirty conditions.
  • Normal visual, auditory, and verbal capabilities to see, hear, and communicate effectively.
