We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven PLM Project Manager to join our ERD - PLM Engineering / IT / Digital Transformation team.

This full-time remote role, based in the USA or Canada (EST), offers an exciting opportunity to lead strategic PLM initiatives that drive innovation and operational excellence across product development, engineering, and manufacturing functions.

You will play a pivotal role in aligning business needs with cutting-edge PLM technologies to deliver impactful, enterprise-wide solutions.

Your Role

As a PLM Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading complex PLM projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver scalable, high-performance PLM solutions.

  • Lead the full lifecycle of PLM projects, from planning and execution to monitoring and closure.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee the implementation and integration of PLM systems such as Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, or Dassault ENOVIA.
  • Coordinate with IT, engineering teams, and vendors to ensure seamless system deployment.
  • Drive data migration, system configuration, testing, and validation efforts.
  • Develop and implement change management and training strategies to ensure successful user adoption.
Your Skills and Experience

We’re seeking a candidate with a strong technical foundation, proven project management expertise, and a passion for digital transformation in engineering environmen ts.

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience, including 2+ years in PLM implementation.
  • Deep understanding of PLM platforms and their integration with ERP, CAD, and enterprise systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology, SDLC, and Build-to-Run frameworks.
  • Proficiency in tools such as MS Project, Planisware, and JIRA.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in change management and user training for enterprise systems.
Preferred Skills\:
  • Familiarity with product development processes in industries such as automotive, aerospace, electronics, or manufacturing.
  • Experience with cloud-based PLM solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
