Maintenance Mechanic II - 1st Shift

As a Maintenance Mechanic II you will organize, coordinate, and execute projects of varying complexity in order to maintain the facility and manufacturing equipment. This includes a wide variety of tasks such as:

• Maintaining and repairing manufacturing and facilities equipment
• Performing preventive maintenance and repairs of all manufacturing and facilities equipment
• Assisting the facilities department with the upkeep of the building
• Interpreting drawings, sketches, wiring diagrams and manufacturer's specifications while trouble shooting equipment malfunctions
• Taking an active role to help ensure that all manufacturing/facility systems are functioning as designed

This position could be a great fit for you if enjoy having responsibility for a wide variety of tasks and have a strong mechanical aptitude along with the following:

• HS diploma or equivalent with a two-year electrical or mechanical technical degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
• 5-8 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting
• Class 2B Boiler license with 2 years of hand on boiler experience
• Basic aptitude for high and low voltage electrical and mechanical repair

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm with flexibility

Location: Chaska, MN

Starting Pay: $30.00-$33.00/hour
