We are a well-established and growing construction materials and equipment transportation company serving Sacramento and surrounding regions. We are currently seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team at our Rancho Cordova, CA location. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a successful and dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and trailers
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
Conduct oil changes and routine service on trucks
Inspect and repair air brake systems, suspension systems (spring and air), and steering components
Perform welding and fabrication as needed
Service HVAC systems and components
Maintain and repair electrical systems, including starters, alternators, ECMs, ECUs, and sensors
Conduct general maintenance on trailers, cabs, and chassis
Perform inspections in compliance with California 90-Day BIT requirements
Accurately document maintenance and repair work
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Communicate effectively with drivers and address DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports) issues
Work independently and collaboratively on various projects

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a heavy-duty mechanic
Strong understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures
Welding and fabrication skills preferred
Familiarity with California BIT inspection protocols
Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and technical documentation
Excellent communication and organizational skills
