Note: The hourly rate for this position is $22 - $26 / hour. Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret miscellaneous blueprints
- Weld various materials using MIG welding techniques
- Perform shop work including welding items such as stair rails, handrails, and some pipe welding
- Ensure accuracy and quality in all welding tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Qualifications:
- Have 5 years experience with MIG welding minimum
- Need to read prints to assemble structural steel beams, columns and other structural product types from various detail pieces.
- Use of tape measures, squares and other hand tools as well as tack welding is required.
- Railing assembly, multi pass stack.
- This job requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Proficiency in welding stair rails, handrails, and pipes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
- All required personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn
- Ability to pass fillet welding test
