Summary
We have an immediate opening available in our growing survey department for a Senior Survey CADD Drafter/Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience. This position must have knowledge of office surveying techniques, including the processing of topographic survey field data, generating DTMs/Surfaces, preparing topographic survey plans using applicable standards, deed and easement research, property mosaic preparation, boundary surveys and analysis, and plan development.
This position offers the option to work in our office Full time or a hybrid schedule. Incumbent must be located within commuting distance.
Requirements
2 years' experience as a Survey CAD Drafter/Tech required
Must be proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation Inroads/OpenRoads
Coordinate geometry and trigonometry skills a plus
Processing or extracting LiDAR point cloud data a plus
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
NJDOT or PennDOT experience preferred
Leadership & scheduling skills
Ability to manage junior technicians and projects to meet required deadlines
Ability to process survey data and perform necessary adjustments using Starnet a plus
Field survey experience a plus but not required
