"Are you ready to contribute to the efficiency and success of warehouse operations?" Our client is seeking a dedicated Welder to join their team. The Welder will be responsible for fabricating and assembling rubber products and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools.

Responsibilities for the Welder:

Work with hot plates to melt and subsequently weld rubber sections together to form an infinite variety of transitions.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding procedures.

Good steady hand coordination and dexterity.

Set up components for welding according to specifications.

Inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws.

Must be fork truck capable or be trained and capable of running a fork truck.

Requirements for the Welder:

Lifting is in the neighborhood of 30 to 50 pounds occasionally.

Needs to be capable of reading a ruler down to 16th inch increments.

Needs to understand angles, subtract and add angles.

Needs to understand how to add, subtract whole numbers and fractions.

Needs to be self-motivated and able to work on his own.

Needs to be safety conscious.

Must speak and understand the English language.

Compensation for the Welder:

$21.00 hourly

Shift is 7:00 to 3:30 with half hour lunch, Monday thru Friday

Overtime is required when the need arises. Typically 10 hour days starting at 5:00 AM and possible Saturday work but not very often.
