We're a family-owned GC that runs like a tight band of brothers: straight shooters, high standards, camaraderie, and the occasionally ball-busting. If you're a creative, quick-learning problem solver who doesn't need to constantly be told what to do, you belong here. What you'll do when you start (Day-1 impact) With a team of peers, you will perform clean, commercial work: layout, blocking/backing, framing, Drywall, trim/millwork, doors/frames/hardware installation, punch-list. Read/ follow construction plans- at least enough to know what you're looking at. Keep sites safe, tidy, and inspection-ready (ICRA basics when we're in active facilities). Occasionally assist superiors in assembly of daily logs/photos in Procore. (we can teach you this if not familiar) Bring self-starter energy: spot problems early, suggest fixes, keep momentum. What you could learn & eventually do as a Foreman (Level-up track) Work directly with one of our Project Managers. You'll be the field general and our first line of defense against all things that can get in the way of the team's d goal and vision. Run morning huddles and own a real 2-week look-ahead (not the we'll see version). Lead a 2 to 4 person crew: set pace, delegate, and hold a clean quality line. Coordinate subs (MEP, flooring, glazing, millwork) and line up inspections like a pro. Take an area from layout rough finish squeaky-clean punch. Use Procore with confidence: RFIs, simple change requests, daily reports that actually help. Plan occupied-space work (ICRA, shutdowns) without drama. Mentor up-and-comers to pass the torch and raise the bar. Clear path for growth (no mystery, just milestones) 1-6 Months: learn our standards, contribute your Carpentry skills in any way that your Foreman/Superintendent/Project Manager asks of you. 6-12 Months: Get your feet wet. Lead a small crew on a smaller project; mentor an apprentice; or assist a superintendent as the right-hand-man for a large project. 12-24 Months: step into Working Foreman on the right project (raise kicks in when this milestone is achieved). About you (the must-haves) 1-5+ years of experience in carpentry (Commercial and/or Healthcare commercial experience = big win). Creative problem solver with solid layout/tape skills and crisp craftsmanship. Quick learner who asks smart questions once and remembers twice. Self-starter who communicates well and has their crew's back. Driver's license & reliable wheels. OSHA-10 (or we'll sponsor). Pay & perks Competitive hourly + OT, with foreman premium when you step into that role 50% Health, dental. Retirement match program, paid holidays & PTO after probationary period ends. Use of company power tools- keep your power tools safe at home. A real sense of belonging.... We're a family-owned company, and we only want folks who work with us to be people we theoretically wouldn't mind hanging out with outside of work. We jus want to do good work with good people. Principals only. Recruiters, please don't contact this job poster. post id: ... updated: [ ]
