Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support various civil engineering projects including, but not limited to:

    • Stormwater management

    • Detention Design

    • Hydraulics and Hydrology Modeling

    • Storm Sewer Design

    • Report Preparation

    • Grading

    • Earthwork

    • Quantities Takeoff

    • Site Geometry

    • Underground Utilities Layout

    • Construction Specifications & Details

    • Transportation

    • Roadway Design

    • Intersection Design

    • Sidewalk Design

    • Corridor Development

    • Concept Planning

  • Support Diverse Civil Engineering Projects

  • Budget and Schedule Management

Qualifications :

  • Motivated, ambitious, and has a strong grasp of civil engineering methods, tools, and processes with limited supervision.

  • Capable of supporting projects at the project engineer or project manager level by supporting the development of a growing transportation portfolio.

  • Experience working with federally funded projects

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

  • At least 4-8 years of civil engineering experience (P.E. preferred but not required for candidate consideration)

  • Required Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent project/time management skills

  • A desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and flexible work environment

  • Ability to manage multiple long-term projects and immediate tasks concurrently

  • Ability to work well in teams and individually

  • Must be proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D

  • Ability to confidently lead meetings

  • Ability to put a plan set together with limited supervision
