Job Title: Construction Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to join our project site in Tennessee. In this role, you will support the construction processes onsite, focusing on delivering energy savings for various public, institutional, government, and commercial customers.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily construction, administrative, and technical management of mechanical construction projects.
- Assist the Senior Project Manager with project scheduling, tracking, quality management, and internal communications.
- Manage customer service, relationships, and contractual obligations through direct interface.
- Oversee vendors and subcontractors to ensure quality control, timely project delivery, and budget adherence.
- Maintain and update project schedules, monitor critical path activities, and track outstanding items.
- Provide a detailed two-week lookahead schedule to facilitate customer coordination and planning.
- Manage and schedule special inspections and AHJ inspections with the Senior Project Manager.
- Ensure compliance with company, industry, customer, and jurisdictional safety standards and practices.
Essential Skills
- Mechanical project management experience of three to five years.
- Proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Office.
- Current OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification.
- Diverse experience in mechanical upgrades for chillers, boilers, and LED light upgrades.
- Ability to design HVAC systems and manage construction projects.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience from a GC or MEP firm.
- Current First Aid & CPR Certification.
- Proven experience in OSHA compliance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized, proactive, and a great listener with a professional and positive communication approach.
Work Environment
Expect to be onsite for 50 hours a week, including time before and after regular working hours. Travel to the site in Nashville is required. The work involves energy efficiency upgrades, infrastructure modernization, and distributed energy resource development for various sectors such as government, healthcare, and commercial businesses.

This is a Contract position based out of Knoxville, Tennessee.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52.88 - $60.10/hr.
