We are seeking a Design Project Manager to support our team at Anchor Management Group, experts in vertical construction and project management. Delivering end-to-end design-build capabilities for elite facilities, Anchor Management Group specializing in Feasibility Studies, Master Planning, Engineering, Design-Build, Pre-Construction, and Construction Management services.
The Design Project Manager will be working from the Conshohocken office, reporting to the Vice President of Operations at Tarkett Sports Construction. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and collaborative individual leading the planning, coordination, and execution of sports facility design projects.

What youll do:
- Manage the full lifecycle of design projects, from concept development through construction documentation.
- Oversee the permit process, including initial submissions, resubmissions, and coordination with local and state agencies to ensure timely approvals.
- Oversee business and contractor licensing.
- Take ownership of moving projects from design through permitting and into construction readiness.
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the project.
- Lead design meetings, reviews, and approvals with stakeholders.
- Coordinate with estimating and construction teams to align design with cost and constructability.
- Provide regular updates and reports to leadership.
What you need for success:
- 5 years' experience in managing design construction projects
- Projects exceeding 5$ million in value
- Experience with synthetic turf, track and field, or athletic facility design.
- Working experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with design drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification will be considered an asset
- Experience directing assistant PMs, subcontractors and others involved in projects.
- Excellent communication skills and a client-focused mindset
- Ability to work cross-functionally with internal departments and external stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to continuous improvement
