Plumbing Mechanic Job Description As a plumber on the crew, you will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks, including working with No Hub, Copper Risers, Gas lines, Sewer lines, Septic lines, and drain lines. You will also be involved in brazing and soldering copper, fitting No Hub, Victaulic plumbing, fitting Victaulic, Shower lines, and bathroom lines. Additionally, you will handle commercial plumbing tasks with cast iron, black pipe, and No HUB. Responsibilities Work with No Hub, Copper Risers, Gas lines, Sewer lines, Septic lines, and drain lines. Perform brazing and soldering of copper. Fit No Hub and Victaulic plumbing. Handle Shower lines and bathroom lines. Conduct commercial plumbing tasks using cast iron, black pipe, and No HUB. Essential Skills Proficiency in plumbing techniques, including No Hub and Copper Risers. Experience in brazing and soldering copper. Ability to fit No Hub and Victaulic plumbing systems. Knowledge of commercial plumbing using cast iron and black pipe. Ability to read plumbing blueprints. Additional Skills & Qualifications SST 10 certification. OSHA 40 certification. F60 & G60 certifications. 8+ years of experience in plumbing. Why Work Here? You will work from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, focusing on projects involving mid-rise affordable housing and luxury apartments. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
