This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained and operate efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in a manufacturing or factory environment. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the overall functionality of building systems. Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards. Perform repairs and maintenance on various building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and installations. Assist in the fabrication of components as needed for maintenance projects. Work collaboratively with other team members on the assembly line to ensure equipment is functioning properly. Operate forklifts to move materials and equipment safely within the facility. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any significant issues to management. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment. Requirements Proven experience in building maintenance or a related field, preferably within a warehouse or manufacturing facility. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and assembly processes is essential. Experience operating forklifts is preferred; certification may be required. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to achieve common goals. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to interact with team members and management effectively.
