Handyman $22/hr 7:00am-3:30pm**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a diligent and skilled Handyman to ensure the upkeep of our buildings and grounds. The ideal candidate will perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery and assist with minor repairs using carpentry, plumbing, and electrical skills.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all machinery.
+ Conduct oil changes and fluid level checks on forklifts and machinery.
+ Utilize carpentry, plumbing, and electrical skills for minor repairs.
+ Conduct preventive maintenance on pumps and motors.
+ Perform basic welding tasks, including MIG and stick welding.
+ Maintain a clean and pristine work area at all times.
+ Perform other tasks as reasonably assigned by management.
+ Serve as liaison with vendors for facility repairs.
+ Purchase equipment and supplies for facility-related repairs.
**Essential Skills**
+ General knowledge in maintenance, specifically in carpentry, plumbing, welding, and electrical skills.
+ Experience with small pumps and motors.
+ Ability to read and understand manuals for repair assistance.
+ Capability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekend hours.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with general labor, landscaping, and hand tools.
+ Knowledge in facilities maintenance, painting, repair, and power tools.
+ Familiarity with construction, carpentry, grinding, mechanical tasks, forklift operation, framing, preventive maintenance, and hydraulics.
