The incumbent will work independently and with other plant personnel to perform preventative, predictive and routine maintenance tasks while ensuring the safety of our people, workplace and environment and meeting all company, legal and other requirements. He/she will trouble shoot issues, repair failures of production and facilities equipment, conduct equipment changeovers, and ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness. Selected candidates will also be involved with equipment installations and facility maintenance. The multi-craft mechanic/technician will implement continuous improvement projects and conduct structured break down analysis on failed componentsSummaryProvide support to the manufacturing processes by repairing industrial equipment including electrical & electronic components, motors, pumps, hydraulic systems, power transmission and conveyors, compressors, chillers and boilers. Complete preventative maintenance tasks to ensure proper functioning of electrical, mechanical, processing, hydraulic and pneumatic systemsResponsibilitiesExecute Planned Maintenance ActivitiesDaily, weekly and shutdown activities executed according to schedule.Plant/ process isolated as per relevant procedures.Maintenance and repairs carried out as per works order, meeting all the quality requirements.Plant/ equipment/ process commissioned after job and handed over to customer for approvalInformation collated, documented and feedback provided to relevant customers.
