Description

The successful candidate will take responsible charge and perform responsibilities on assigned projects

which shall include but not be limited to:

Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, clients, and client representatives to determine

project scope and achieve successful project construction

Coordinate project designs with other disciplines to determine needs, resolve problems, and

provide technical information

Assist management in establishing budgets and projects schedules

Attend meetings with owners, clients, or other designers as needed

Perform specific engineering studies and other design analyses using industry software

Produce written specifications for project materials and construction methods

Conduct project job site visits during construction to monitor progress and ensure

conformance to design specifications, owner expectations, and standard building codes

Additional Skills & Qualifications

An ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

B.S. degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structures and four or more years

applicable experience in discipline design

Professional Engineering License preferred

Structural design with a variety of projects, including but not limited to commercial,

industrial, and municipal buildings, structural rehabilitation, and structural assessment

reports

Proficient with the design of construction materials, including but not limited to reinforced

concrete, precast, structural steel, masonry, and wood construction.

Experience with Revit 3D Modeling Software, Microsoft, and Excel

Proficient using engineering design software, including but not limited to RAM Structural

Systems, RISA 3D, and RISA Foundation

Project Management and marketing Structural design services desired

Experience Level

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $57.69 - $62.50/hr.
