What You Will Do:

GFT is seeking an Office Operations Manager to join our Operational Services Team ! This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular attendance at one of our many offices.

GFT Shared Service Services team, which includes Human Resources, Legal, Accounting & Finance, IT Services and Marketing & Communications, are essential for managing and supporting the company's global operations. Shared Services are part of a broader strategy to transform the business and improve efficiency. The support of this amazing team of professionals, is the backbone of our ability to deliver infrastructure consulting and design services.

What you’ll be challenged to do:

The Office Operations Manager will be challenged to lead and manage all Office Operation’s Regional Managers, as well as assisting Corporate Real Estate Leader in meeting operational goals and metrics. Additionally, they will collaborate on best practices with other Shared Service teams and identify opportunities for operational improvements, cost savings, and implement initiatives to achieve these objectives. The Office Operations Manager oversees the overall Office Operation’s administrative team consisting of more than 30 people that support over 100 office locations nationwide.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist, coordinate, and communicate with Office Operations and Shared Services groups to provide information and resolve issues related to office operations.
  • Communicate with Regional Managers and Office Principals to ensure office resources are adequate and address gaps in support.
  • Ensure the proper and timely flow of all administrative processes and communications.
  • Assist the Corporate Real Estate Leader in tracking and meeting operational goals and metrics, including, but not limited to P&L and overhead management and assist with management of new office openings, closures, expansions, remodels, relocations, and subleasing.
  • Develop financial projections, business plans, and salary adjustments.
  • Evaluate strategies to streamline any operational discrepancies or challenges that arise during acquisition integration processes.
  • Coordinate directly with Shared Services staff to resolve human resources, quality, safety, IT, financial and operational matter.

Leadership / Management Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead office administrative team to provide high quality and effective support to office staff by:
    • Planning and organizing regular meetings to share and implement improved processes to meet workload distribution needs.
    • Assign and communicate responsibilities for the completion of all administrative tasks.
    • Implement training plans and strategies to mentor and develop team members.
    • Oversee the recruitment, training, and retention of office administrative staff, ensuring a high level of competency and professionalism.
Education | Experience:

What you will bring to our firm:

  • 15+ years of relevant experience required.
  • Mandatory management, supervisory and leadership experience leading teams with over 20 people.
  • High level experience working with top leaders of the company and interpreting company strategic goals.
  • Advanced knowledge of key performance indicators.
  • Expert knowledge and experience with implementing corporate policies and procedures.
  • Expert knowledge of accounting and contracting principles.
  • Highly skilled to make, lead and execute on executive decisions.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion in business matters to handle confidential information.
  • Master in Microsoft Office Suite/O365 applications.

Compensation:

The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $125,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
