Welder

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the production team supporting various operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Welder (3-4 month assignment)

Location: Johnstown, PA

Pay Range: $20-22/hr

Shift: 1st

What's the Job?

• Perform welding functions (1G) to weld flat positions.
• Understand and handle the process of inventory control, including shipping and receiving.
• Operate cranes and hoists safely and efficiently.
• Interpret blueprints and manufacture parts in accordance with those drawings.
• Package, stage, and finalize paperwork for completed orders.

What's Needed?

• Education or training in blueprint reading and mathematics.
• Prior railcar experience is preferred.
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience.
• Fork truck and crane certification or experience.
• Ability to interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
