Machine Operator Franklin Electric - 3.5 Oklahoma City, OK Job Details Full-time Estimated: $30.2K - $37.3K a year 20 hours ago Qualifications Basic math English High school diploma or GED Quality control Warehouse experience Manufacturing Entry level Under 1 year Full Job Description Operate molding machines/auxiliary equipment. Monitor quality of parts produced and report problems to the Floor Person, Process Technician or Supervisor. Trim parts and perform secondary operations as required. Includes Packaging/labeling boxes and stacking on pallets KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Identify and log defective parts per QC sheet, common defects, and sample part. Log in bad parts to adjust production counts. Keep machine cycle times consistent, and per standard. Build and use correct boxes and pack parts per requirements. Cover old labels on used boxes. Apply production labels and sign/date. Move finished parts to proper location. Use proper grinder to recycle bad parts and runners. Follow Nonconforming Product/Reject Procedure for defective parts. Keep work area organized and clean. Performs rework/reclaim as needed. Follow Safety Rules. Performs other duties as required. SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE Communicate verbally and read and write in English. Basic math skills. Ability to work with simple hand trimming tools. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and good eyesight. Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and meet objectives without constant supervision. Ability to work with others and utilize effective problem-solving techniques. Education and Experience High School graduate and/or GED, 6 months manufacturing/warehouse/QC related experience or a combination of related experience.
