Machine Operator**
**Job Description**
The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating Voortman CNC machines, including plate processors, beam drill lines, and plasma cutters. This role involves loading and unloading steel materials onto the machine using overhead cranes or forklifts, interpreting blueprints and CAD drawings to ensure accurate cuts and hole placements, monitoring machine operations, and making necessary adjustments to maintain precision and quality. The operator will also perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the equipment while ensuring safety compliance and wearing proper PPE at all times.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate Voortman CNC machines such as plate processors, beam drill lines, and plasma cutters.
+ Load and unload steel materials onto the machine using overhead cranes or forklifts.
+ Interpret blueprints and CAD drawings to ensure accurate cuts and hole placements.
+ Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to maintain precision and quality.
+ Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the equipment.
+ Ensure safety compliance and wear proper PPE at all times.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with Voortman or similar CNC machinery.
+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication specifications.
+ Familiarity with metal fabrication processes and quality control standards.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

The Machine Operator will work in a heavy manufacturing environment on the day shift, which runs from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The shop operates 24/7, providing a dynamic and fast-paced work setting.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
