Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of premium surfacing materials serving residential and commercial markets across North America.

Territory: New Hampshire, Vermont, & Maine (must live here and be able to travel within the region)

Salary:

$70-80k base salary + commission + full comprehensive benefits

Job Summary:

This role focuses on driving demand and growing market share by cultivating new and existing customer relationships, providing product training, and managing projects primarily with design studios, kitchen & bath dealers, and fabrication partners. The position also oversees the promotion and merchandising of surfacing products across assigned accounts and territories.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and execute sales strategies to expand business within remodelers, builders, cabinet makers, and fabrication accounts.

Identify target prospects, generate leads, follow up on referrals, and prepare tailored action plans to achieve territory goals.

Build brand awareness by conducting presentations, delivering samples, and maintaining updated merchandising displays.

Establish and nurture relationships through regular visits, networking events, and participation in industry associations.

Provide timely quotes, resolve customer concerns, and support key accounts with quality checks and ongoing follow-ups.

Gather market insights to help shape marketing initiatives and territory business plans.

Prepare and deliver training sessions and sales tools to clients to drive product adoption.

Assist with trade shows, weekend promotions, and customer events to showcase products and strengthen partnerships.

Maintain accurate records of activities, customer interactions, and sales opportunities in CRM systems.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years' experience in territory sales within surfaces, building materials, or a related field.

Background working with fabricators, installers, or kitchen and bath dealers strongly preferred.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.

Valid driver's license with a clean record; must be comfortable driving extensively within the territory and occasionally traveling overnight.

Role involves frequent driving to customer sites (approximately 80% of time).

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and comfortably set up displays and samples.

Requires a combination of in-office planning and field-based client interactions.
