Key Responsibilities
- Oversee field operations and subcontractor activities to ensure smooth execution.
- Interpret construction drawings and specifications; develop detailed work plans.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
- Manage material takeoffs, procurement processes, and delivery schedules.
- Lead project closeout activities, including financial reconciliation with subcontractors and the Owner.
- Maintain document control and ensure subcontractor compliance.
- Review and coordinate shop drawings, mock-ups, and subcontractor scopes.
- Enforce OSHA and environmental safety standards.
- Collaborate with QA/QC teams to resolve non-compliance issues.
- Identify critical path activities and long-lead procurement items.
- Assist in schedule development, updates, and subcontractor coordination.
- Support monthly billing, cash flow forecasting, and change order management.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 510 years of experience in heavy civil infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience on projects valued at $100 million or more.
- Strong financial and cost management experience.
- Familiarity with legal, contractual, and claims processes.
- Deep understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and contract documentation.
Preferred Skills & Certifications
- Proficiency in ProCore and Primavera P6.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Experience with bridge construction projects.
