Mechanic-Maintenance

Position is for second shift. 3:00 - 11:30 Monday - Friday.

Position Summary: Performs a wide variety of repairs, overhaul and servicing duties on hospital plant and equipment

Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

• A basic knowledge of maintenance and repair practices required for various mechanical equipment and systems
• Understanding of basic safe work practices for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, access crawl spaces; able to work extra shifts, able to work in harsh environment, such as boiler rooms, mechanical spaces, crawl spaces

Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

• Basic knowledge of one building or engineering trade

Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

License/Certification:

• None Required
