Eischen Cabinet Company is looking for a Wood Shop Lead to manage production and oversee a skilled crew of cabinetmakers. This role is ideal for a senior woodworker ready to take charge, mentor others, and help keep quality and deadlines on pointall in a family-friendly, flexible environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a small team of cabinetmakers and techs
Schedule projects and allocate tasks to keep production on track
Oversee quality control and maintain high workmanship standards
Lead with hands-on cabinetmaking
Collaborate with design and sales teams to ensure client expectations are met
Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized shop
Requirements:
7+ years woodworking experience, with at least 2 in a leadership role
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Experience managing workflow, materials, and team schedules
Familiarity with shop software, tools, and production standards
Experience with Quality Control in a Woodworking/Furniture Making capacity
Ability to interpret and troubleshoot cabinet drawings/CAD files
