Akkodis is seeking a Construction Manager for a contract job with a client in Phoenix, AZ(Hybrid). Responsibilities include managing vendor schedules and field execution, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Rate Range: $38/hour to 40/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Construction Manager job responsibilities include: Oversee and coordinate multiple construction projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence. Manage vendor relationships, construction schedules, and field execution activities. Review and approve construction drawings for fiber and small cell installations. Ensure compliance with safety standards, permitting requirements, and utility location processes. Monitor project milestones, process purchase orders, and resolve field issues proactively. Provide regular updates and reports to internal stakeholders, maintaining accurate documentation in tools like SmartSheets and Excel. Required Qualifications: High school diploma required; additional technical certifications preferred (e.g., OSHA 10). Minimum 3 years of experience in telecommunications or wireless construction. Strong knowledge of OSP fiber and small cell construction techniques, including aerial and underground methods.
