PCSI is looking for a Grounds Maintenance at the Port of entry! A Grounds Maintenance will perform a variety of grounds maintenance functions in a variety of skilled and semi-skilled craft trades to support assigned contract. This position will report to the project manager and is based at El Paso, Texas. **Typical work hours will be from 6:00am to 2:30pm or 3:00pm to 11:30pm**

+ Base pay of **$17.52hr** depending upon experience.

**What you'll do as a Grounds Maintenace:**

Perform a variety of grounds maintenance functions in a variety of skilled and semi-skilled craft trades to support assigned contract.

Assist in the planning, layout and completion of modifications and repairs.

Assist in the accomplishment of minor grounds maintenance tasks which must be performed to proficiency.

Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of grounds equipment.

**What you'll need to Be Successful:**

High school diploma or GED

Minimum of (1) year of prior experience in grounds keeping or landscaping preferred.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**

Ability to climb, bend, squat, lift and carry objects ranging from 10-60 pounds; Occasionally push objects up to 100 pounds; prolong walking up to 90%.

Knowledge of methods used in grounds keeping, including use of all types of lawn equipment.

Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery.

Ability to demonstrate accuracy and speed in work performed.

Ability to read, understand, and complete incoming work orders.

Ability to understand and follow policies, procedures and regulations as needed.

Ability to communicate both orally and in written format.

Ability to work as a team member and develop effective working relationships with other staff and clients.

**Other Requirements:**

Ability to pass criminal, drug, and driving screening.

Ability to work outside in inclement weather as needed and be exposed to various dirt, debris, and odors.

Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays.

Possess valid drivers license and maintain good driving record.

If required, ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and base access to assigned site(s).
