Niagara Falls PCR is looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team!
**JOB DEFINITION:**
This position is responsible for Maintenance and repair of Equipment and Facilities within the main production plant. The successful candidate is able to read blueprints and schematics.

**GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY:**
Installation of machinery and equipment
Lubrication of equipment
Preventative Maintenance
Inspection, diagnosis of problems
Disassemble machinery and equipment
Repair and/or replacement of defective parts
Reassembling equipment
Pipefitting, to include installation, repair of various systems (boiler, heat and steam systems)
Installation and repair of pumps, compressors, valves and controls
Hydraulics, including setup, remove and repair of hydraulic pumps
Carpentry, including layout, building, maintaining, joining and attaching as required
HVAC Refrigeration, including installation of piping, tubing and various controls, motors, compressors or valve systems
Welding and Metal fabrication, including basic stick and MIG welding
Miscellaneous bench work
Responsible for reporting production and labor activity via company data collection systems
Will conform to Safety, Health & Environmental requirements and maintain good housekeeping
Examples of equipment/machinery repaired:
Furnaces
Lathes
Mills
Chillers and Coolers
Presses
HVAC Equipment (air conditioners, etc)
The Plant Maintenance Mechanic has successfully completed a four (4) year apprenticeship program including approved coursework and 8000 hours of on-the-job training and is certified by the NYS Department of Labor- **OR** has 10 years of maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing setting.

Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
