Project Management:
- Manage multiple complex engineering projects from start to finish.
- Oversee office staff, subconsultants, budgets, schedules, and contracts.
- Monitor project risks, expenses, and profitability.
Planning & Development:
- Prepare proposals, scopes, budgets, schedules, and work plans.
- Conduct field assessments and develop design plans, specifications, cost estimates, and calculations.
- Seal and sign engineering documents.
- Provide design support during bidding and construction.
- Conduct site observations and manage project closeout.
Leadership:
- Provide technical and managerial guidance to project teams.
- Align team members with project goals and promote staff development.
- Set performance goals and foster a positive, service-oriented culture.
Client & Stakeholder Relations:
- Serve as primary contact for clients, agencies, and contractors.
- Build strong relationships and support business development.
Quality & Safety:
- Ensure technical quality and compliance with laws, codes, and standards.
- Address safety concerns and uphold industry best practices.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation throughout the lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 16 years of experience in civil engineering design.
- Proven experience managing large-scale design projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation.
- Skilled in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Bluebeam.
