Kforce has a client in Cupertino, CA that is seeking an Electrical Engineer.

Electrical Design & Development:

  • Own schematic design and PCB layout for accessories products, including mixed-signal, power, and digital subsystems
  • Select and qualify electrical components to meet performance, reliability, and cost targets
  • Develop prototypes to validate architecture decisions and enable early testing

System Integration & Technology Enablement:

  • Integrate new sensing, haptics, display, and wireless technologies into compact, efficient product architectures
  • Ensure electrical designs work seamlessly within mechanical and industrial design constraints

Validation & Characterization:

  • Develop and execute test plans to validate electrical performance, signal/power integrity, and system reliability
  • Conduct bring-up, debug, and performance characterization of prototypes and engineering builds

Debugging & Issue Resolution:

  • Lead root cause analysis of electrical failures across all stages of development
  • Work closely with firmware and hardware validation teams to resolve system-level issuesFactory Support & Build Readiness: Only if applicable to NPI projects
  • Support prototype builds and NPI efforts with clear documentation, test support, and design updates
  • Collaborate with operations and product engineering to ensure DFM and production ramp readiness

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with mechanical, firmware, software, and test engineering teams to drive product definition and execution
  • Communicate technical findings and design trade-offs clearly in cross-functional forums.* BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 3-8 years of relevant experience designing and shipping consumer electronics or embedded hardware systems
  • Strong experience in board-level electrical design, including power, analog, and digital circuits
  • Proficiency in schematic capture and layout tools (e.g., Cadence Allegro, OrCAD)
  • Hands-on lab skills for prototype bring-up, measurement, and debug (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.)
  • Familiarity with accessory-relevant technologies such as BLE, USB, battery systems, and low-power design
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and ownership mindset
