Facilities Maintenance Mechanic

Across every division, WJCS employees are connected by their shared values and commitment to helping those in need. We are currently seeking a full-time Facilities Maintenance Mechanic. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that WJCS facilities are safe, secure, and well-maintained. This position requires hands-on experience with a wide range of building systems, repairs, and preventative maintenance.The compensation is $52,000/year and the schedule is Monday Friday 8:30am 5:00pm. Responsibilities:As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:The inspection, maintenance, and repair of multiple building systems and structures, including:Fire & burglarHVAC basic troubleshooting; filter changesMechanical pumps, motors, ventilation unitsEquipment water heaters, washers/dryersElevator rooms basic upkeepPlumbing unclogging, leak repair, fixture installationElectrical outlet repairs, lightingCarpentry - framing, drywallAppliance removal and installationRoofing & gutter maintenanceLandscaping and yard maintenanceDecking, steps, and railings repairFloor removal and installation (including vinyl, tile, and other materials)Vinyl siding repair and installationWindow/door/key & lock installation Available to work evenings or weekends as needed.
