Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Performs the maintenance, diagnosis, repair, and installation of production machine tools and plant machinery.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• High School Diploma or Equivalency (GED).

• Must be able to work any designated shift to include overnight.

• Must have 3 years of experience diagnosing, repairing, and installing production machine tools and plant machinery.

• Must be proficient in the repairing, maintaining, and rebuilding of all types of equipment associated with pumps, conveyors, hoists, and compressors.

• Must have experience using precision measuring tools.

• Must have experience with the removal and installation of large bearings.

• Must have experience with rigging procedures

• Must possess basic working knowledge of pneumatic principles.

• Must be able to work from oral and written instructions.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. secret clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
• The ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF) clearance.

Additional Details:

This position is part of a collective bargaining agreement. Wage and work place conditions, including shift times, are subject to this agreement. Individuals hired into this position will be represented by a union.

This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
