Prefabrication Supervisor

We are currently seeking a qualified applicant to join our family team of over 41 years. This position is for permanent and full-time employment to work within the state of Massachusetts. The mission of the Prefab Supervisor is to manage the daily operation of the prefabrication shop's product, personnel and property.

Requirements/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for completion of all prefabrication orders.
  • Train and manage a staff of qualified personnel to meet the execution objectives of prefabrication orders.
  • Responsible for ensuring that quality tools are assigned to prefabrication team.
  • Assist and collaborate with the CAD department during the pre-construction and planning phases of a project.
  • Assist and collaborate with all department teams to maximize the best use of pre-fab on each project.
  • Maintains a close interface with field Foreman and PMs regarding prefabrication order objectives.
  • Upholds all safety procedures required for the execution of work.
  • Responsible for ensuring a level of productivity and quality of work is performed and within project schedule and hours.
  • Responsible for packaging and shipping of all prefabrication orders per order instructions.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with internal and external project teams.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

General Requirements

  • Former General foreman, Foreman, or Supervisor with 8 plus years of Electrical Experience, Journeyman license required.
  • Prior experience supervising prefabrication shop operations at an electrical contracting firm would be a plus.
  • Ability to read, interpret and understand Construction drawing sets and specifications.
  • Lean Manufacturing experiences a plus.
  • Must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word).
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills.
  • Has strong ability to be a team player and leader.
  • Reliable and committed to working at least 40 hours per week.
  • OSHA 10 card
  • Positive attitude and motivated to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment screening- including driving record, background check, and drug test.
