What We Offer

The business development manager is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for flexible printed electronics, building relationships within the value value chain and maintaining a deep knowledge of market trends and competition. The business development manager shall serve as a subject matter expert in product performance and application development, supporting commercial growth in all regions. They are also responsible for collaborating with the Innovation team to refine the product line and inform PPS of commercial and channel demands of the market.

Major Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and build/expand customer base
• Continuously evaluate and refine product line and work with Innovation team to address unmet needs.
• Lead and coordinate application development activities in conjunction with Innovation team
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities through networking and market research, establish track opportunity pipeline
• Understand market trends and competitive landscape through networking and participation at industry events
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that product line and application support meet customer needs
• Drive profitable growth, building and tracking commercial project pipeline along the value chain in conjunction with commercial team
• Facilitate knowledge exchange between regions including translation of expertise and key applications
• Coordinate and execute product and application training including cross-regional interactions
• Travel with commercial team to support application development

What You Offer

Basic Qualifications:

• BS Degree in technical discipline or BS with a strong technical background and commercial skills
• At least 7 years experience in printed electronics industry
• Proven track record in developing profitable business. Strong financial and business acumen.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with printing and fabrication processes for flexible electronics
• Experience with plastics/films application development
• BS Degree in Engineering or Science
• Experience/knowledge of TPU resins/films

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

• Team player, excellent networking and customer relationship building skills
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Sees the big picture, demonstrates strategic mindset and drives execution - digs into the details and takes action
• Resourceful and proactive in solving problems and managing projects. High degree of personal integrity
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 30%, with ability to travel internationally
• Strong presentation skills
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, solution-oriented mindset
