Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Market Operations Manager in our Greater Central South Ohio (Cincinnati/Columbus/Dayton) location.

The Market Operations Manager serves as the primary resource for Trilogie system expertise and standard operating procedures (SOPs) within their designated market. This role provides operational support to branch teams, helping to drive efficiency, improve processes, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The Market Operations Manager also plays a key role in financial oversight, compliance, talent development, and integrating new acquisitions into market operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary market contact for the Trilogie system and related SOPs, offering mentorship and support.
  • Train and support Branch Managers in understanding and managing Profit and Loss (P&L) reports and associated financial metrics.
  • Coordinate market inventory management, ensuring alignment with working capital goals and optimizing purchasing strategies.
  • Identify and address inventory challenges, including inefficiencies and committed stock concerns.
  • Lead initiatives to improve sales and operational processes within the market.
  • Support sales operations, including order management through various channels (email, phone, etc.).
  • Coordinate key operational processes such as Accounts Payable, customer credits, vendor returns, and asset management.
  • Provide mentorship and training to branch teams on operational and financial standard processes.
  • Apply critical thinking to enhance efficiency, streamline workflows, and implement performance-focused initiatives.
  • Make data-driven decisions while ensuring accountability for market profitability, compliance, and operational success.
  • Act as a change leader, facilitating smooth transitions during acquisitions and process integrations.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred; additional certifications or advanced education are a plus.
  • 3-5 years experience with warehouse & logistics, inventory & process control and people leadership is preferred.
  • Proven ability to mentor, guide, and develop team members to strengthen performance and engagement.
  • Proficient in Trilogie with a solid grasp of its applications and standard methodologies.
  • Experience in operational leadership with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
  • Strong financial competence, including managing P&L and overseeing strategic budgets.
  • Understanding standard methodologies for compliance and risk management to uphold regulatory and operational integrity.

Pay Range:

$7,383.34 - $11,816.67

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
