What You will Do:
Conduct advanced FEA simulations on various mechanical components and systems
Build, develop, validate, and implement simulation models and algorithms
Analyze and interpret simulation results to support design decisions and identify areas for improvement
Post-process results to determine if products meet customer requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that simulations accurately reflect product behavior
Mentor and guide junior FEA engineers, as needed
Keep up-to-date with latest industry developments and emerging simulation technologies
What You Will Bring:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
0-3 years of experience in conducting FEA simulations
Strong understanding of solid mechanics and finite element analysis
Proficiency in using simulation software such as ANSYS, and Siemens
Ability to interpret and present simulation results effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Pay Range: $60,000 - $70,000 a year
Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
Work Requirements:
We offer flexible work options, including hybrid arrangements, to support the need of the role and align with company policies. This position is located in Indianapolis, IN and is considered hybrid with some days potentially required on-site.
You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, 0% of travel is required.
Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
