THE JOB :
At Beau Rivage Resort & Casino, every detail mattersincluding the floors our guests walk on. As a full-time Carpet Layer , you will use your skills to install and repair carpet throughout the property, ensuring every space meets our high standards of quality and appearance. From intricate pattern matching to large-scale installations, your craftsmanship will help create an environment that is both beautiful and welcoming.

THE STARTING RATE : $23.12 an hour

THE SCHEDULE:

• Day Shift | Full Time
• Monday - Friday | 7:00am - 3:00pm
• Off: Saturday & Sunday

THE JOB:

• Perform routine to complex carpet installation, repair, and maintenance work throughout the property
• Use power and hand tools to complete assignments quickly and efficiently
• Seam, power stretch, kick stretch, trim, match patterns, work with various carpet backings, and perform direct-glue installations
• Work independently with minimal supervision, completing tasks in a timely manner
• Maintain awareness of safety protocols, cleanliness, and accident prevention at all times
• Stay informed on the latest carpet installation techniques and advise leadership of unusual conditions or repair needs
• Keep accurate logbooks of all work performed

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Exhibits 2+ years of prior relevant work experience in the hospitality industry or similar environment
• Holds a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Demonstrates expertise with power tools, hand tools, and industry-specific installation methods
• Obtains a Class D Driver's License as required
