Civil Engineer Jobs in Tennessee
A Civil Engineer plays a pivotal role in the construction industry, overseeing the design, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, buildings, dams, and airports. Proficiency in software like AutoCAD, as well as knowledge of building and construction codes, is highly valued. Certifications such as the Professional Engineer (PE) license, which requires a degree from an accredited engineering program, passing scores on the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) and Professional Engineering (PE) exams, and relevant work experience can enhance a Civil Engineer's credentials.
