Geotechnical Engineer

My client is a top engineering consulting firm and they're seeking an experienced and driven Geotechnical Engineer to join their dynamic team and contribute to transformative projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct field investigations to evaluate subsurface soil and rock conditions.

• Perform detailed geotechnical analyses and calculations.

• Design foundations, retaining walls, and slope stabilization solutions.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate geotechnical insights.

• Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with geotechnical standards.

• Produce concise and well-documented technical reports and recommendations.

• Manage budgets and maintain financial accuracy on projects, including client invoicing.

• Foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.

• Represent the organization at professional meetings and business development events as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related discipline.

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in geotechnical engineering.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred

• Expertise in geotechnical investigations, reporting, and testing protocols.

• Proficiency in interpreting subsurface data and conducting foundation design.

• Experience in creating and implementing drilling and boring plans, slope stability assessments, and seismic hazard evaluations.
