Electrical Engineer (Staff or Senior)
Location: Preferred in Alpharetta, GA, but remote or relocation options are available
Travel: Up to 30%
Summary:
ExecuSource is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our facilities. Based on experience, the role may be filled at the Staff or Senior level.
What you get to do:
Design and analyze electrical systems up to 230 kV.
Lead or support installation and upgrades of electrical equipment (e.g., switchgear, substations, motors, VFDs, UPS, PLCs).
Conduct power system studies (short circuit, load flow, arc flash, coordination).
Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement long-term solutions.
Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
Oversee equipment testing and support construction and commissioning activities.
Lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior staff (Senior level).
What you need to succeed:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
5+ years (Staff) or 8+ years (Senior) of industry experience, preferably in oil, gas, or energy.
Knowledge of power distribution, industry codes (NEC, IEEE, NFPA, API), and safety practices.
Experience with system modeling tools (e.g., ETAP) and protective relays (GE, SEL).
Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
