JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Electrical Engineer will be an individual contributor within the Client's Neuromodulation Electrical Product Development team.
The individual will be responsible for all the phases of the product development including definitation, design, troubleshooting, characterization and verification of implantable and external neurostimulators as well as patient programmers.
The individual will be an integral part of the R D organization in delivering the highest quality, life changing technology to our patients.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems Designs electrical equipment, components, products, and test systems for medical devices.
SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM: Typically an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing the projects from design to implementation while and adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education (typically University).
Requirement:
Must Have
4+ years of Electrical Product Development experience for Class II and/or Class III medical devices.
Create and review Component specifications, Schematics, PCB artwork for Medical devices
Design and execute test methods to characterize Electromagnetic and RF performance, and verify adherence to standards, product and systems requirements
Design and test Analog, Digital, Power and Bluetooth circuits for implantable and external Neurostimulator devices.
Develop test protocols and execute protocols and generate reports.
Experience in working in medical device industry and adhering to regulatory standards such as 60601 and quality policies and standards
Nice To Have
Ability to work with others internationally and travel globally
Analysis of product performance using Design for Reliability and Manufacturability techniques and write test reports.
Plan and coordinate activities with cross functional teams (Released Product Engineering, Systems, Firmware, Mechanical and quality etc)
Work with Contract Manufacturer Develop Manufacturer Test Requirement Specifications
